Stress Free Planning

Planning a wedding is very exciting, but forethought and organization are crucial elements to a successful wedding day.

Every wedding needs to consider the following:

  1. SET A BUDGET:  To keep your spending under control, prioritize the services that are the most important to you.

  1. CHOOSE YOUR CEREMONY AND RECEPTION SITE THOUGHTFULLY:  It should reflect your beliefs, type of ceremony & reception you envision, and the number of guests the site can accommodate.

  1. SAVE-THE-DATE CARDS:  Go against tradition and create unique “Save The Date” reminders informing guests about special events, locations or themes.

  1. INVITATIONS AND STATIONARY:. Beware of oddly shaped invitations, as they will require more postage.

  1. FLOWERS:  Find a floral designer you can trust!!!!!  Will they be open to your ideas and make suggestions to stay within your budget?

  1. CHOOSING A PHOTOGRAPHER:  Understand what style of photography you like. Discuss your expectations with your photographer and ask for every detail in writing,

  1. YOUR WEDDING CAKE:  Search through bridal magazines to get ideas of your favorite decorating details. Request a tasting session with your baker before ordering.

  1. LIMOS, TRANSPORATION AND SHUTTLES:  Consider a shuttle at the end of your reception if alcohol is being served.

  1. ATTIRE:  If your wedding gown needs alterations, find an experienced specialist who understands bridal gown construction, fabrics and styles.

  1. GIFT REGISTRY:  Register for items in several different price categories and in more than one type of store.
